John will guide you thru a initially stimulating practice starting with Kundalini inspired spinal warm ups and pranayama, then will move the body thru slow flow sun salutations and asanas, core work, culminating with kriyas that will finish the practice in a state of meditation tuning in the nervous system for a grounded state of relaxation setting the tone for a day of Presence and gratitude.

John Kudrna has lived in Bozeman and practiced Yoga for the majority of the last 25 years and is studied in the Classical Hatha Yoga Traditions. He truly embraces the 8 limbs,practices and teaches mantra, chanting, bhakti and Seva. Over 30 surgeries later from various traumatic injuries & illnesses, he is passionate about self healing & practicing the art and science of proactive living from the inside out. He acknowledges the natural power of the body to heal itself when we give it what it needs to thrive not just survive. His personal journey of addiction recovery & holistic wellness is practiced through the lens and blueprint of the ancient Yogic teachings. Yoga=Recovery. Hence, he is also a Yoga Informed Recovery Coach and facilitates Yoga/Meditation retreats for Recovery 2.0, Veterans, and those with Mental Health & addiction challenges. He studied and served on staff at the Sivananda Yoga Farm Ashram in Grass Valley,CA for 4 years, hence is Sivananda 200 RYT certified as well as 200 RYT trained in Anusara. In the last 8 years has been steeped in the Kundalini Yoga tradition thanks to his teacher's Tommy Rosen and Kia Miller. He believes the Kundalini practice is "anti depressant medicine" & Meditation is medication. Passionate about practicing and teaching daily Sadhana, John believes a daily practice is the foundation for building mind, body & soul health. He shares the power of breath and movement to build vitality, boost immunity and live optimally. Practicing in commUNITY builds our individual and collective immUNITY. He also loves moving in nature on backcountry skis, whitewater kayaking, mountain biking, hiking & paddle board surfing.
